At Moscow Sheremetyevo airport, a resident of Perm who was flying on vacation to Cuba was not allowed to board the flight. Border guards interrogated the woman with bias, mistaking her for a citizen of Ukraine who forges documents and thus tries to cross the border. According to him, the tourist, who was flying to Cuba with her friends on a package tour, was unable to pass passport control on Sunday. The border guard “rolled” her passport, and a man with a completely different last name was displayed in the database.
The Russian woman was asked if she was from Ukraine, deciding that she was forging documents, the travel agent explained.
He suggested that a mistake was made by the Federal Migration Service when issuing a foreign passport to the woman. After several questions they let her through and she flew to Cuba.
However, it is not clear how she can fly back, since she does not have another passport, Kupin concluded.
Earlier, security forces uncovered a criminal child trafficking scheme in Moscow.
