The press service of the Baltic City Court in a publication on official website reports that a resident of Baltiysk lost her savings because her child played “millionaire.”
According to the investigation, the victim’s 13-year-old son was playing a board game with a friend, and at a certain point, instead of domestic currency, the children took real currency, borrowing funds from the savings of the student’s mother. As a result, a friend of the victim’s son won 107 thousand rubles, which he took from the loser and spent on sweets, scooters and other entertainment.
It is noted that the child’s mother found out about what happened some time later, and due to the fact that the money had already been spent, she decided to go to court. The plaintiff claims that the parents should be held responsible for the harm caused to the minor, so she filed a lawsuit against the mother of the child who hit the jackpot. The preliminary trial date is set for October 4 this year.
