Gymnast Elizaveta Chumakova, who participated in the “Royal Circus” performance by Gia Eradze in Novosibirsk, shared information about her condition with “Gazeta.Ru”. According to her, doctors have not yet made a final diagnosis.
“The situation is unusual, the body is trained, athletic; the body reacted in its own way. <...> Naturally, with such a fall there are injuries, but they do not threaten my life at the moment,” Chumakova said.
She stressed that she needed to figure out exactly what was wrong because she planned to continue to perform at her best. The gymnast asked to avoid spreading false information about her condition and not to make diagnoses based on video materials.
Chumakova also emphasized her determination to recover, although it may take a long time.
“The reason for the fall was my carelessness. I believed very strongly in myself that I could get out of this situation. This will be a lesson for me in the future,” said the gymnast.
Let us remind you that on March 16, Chumakova performed a stunt without insurance and fell down. She was hospitalized.
