Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Yakutia Alexander Podgolov explained what happened at the concert at the House of Friendship of Peoples, during which a large family with a disabled child was kicked out of the hall. He is quoted by SakhaDay.
According to the official, the Friendship of Peoples workers “were not prepared at all.”
“…It was the workers of the House of Peoples’ Friendship who held seats for us in advance. The workers were not ready. Probably, it was possible to bring the chairs…” he explained.
Earlier, a woman who was asked to leave the concert said that her family was invited to the event as a large family. After the guest took seats with small children and a disabled person of group I, the workers, according to her, asked them to vacate the chairs that were intended for officials, as well as the priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. Among the high-ranking officials was Vice-Speaker Podgolov.
The vice speaker of the parliament of Yakutia said that he does not see his guilt in what happened.
