An unexpected explanation was given to the guards by a 33-year-old resident of Zelenograd, who on February 18 threw his two-year-old son face down into a snowdrift.
As MK managed to find out, an unpleasant incident occurred during a walk. A man and his wife went outside with two children. The one-year-old daughter slept in a stroller driven by her father, and the two-year-old son followed his parents. At some point, the baby stumbled and fell into a puddle. Seeing this, the father grabbed the little one by the hood and with force threw his face into the snowdrift. Eyewitnesses captured the incident on video and made it public.
With the coordinating role of the prosecutor of Zelenograd, the identity of the man was established. The head of the family explained that he placed his son in the snow for hygiene reasons – so that the snow would absorb dirt. The man also said that he did not see anything illegal in his actions.
The establishment of all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the course and results of the procedural check, is controlled by the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
