In Saratov, a resident of the Balakovo district, Albina Belskaya, was arrested for five days for desecrating the Eternal Flame on the city’s Theater Square. She was found guilty of petty hooliganism.

As Kommersant was told in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Saratov Region, a 26-year-old resident of Saratov turned to the police and showed law enforcement agencies a video from one of the Telegram channels, in which two girls dance near the monument to the Fighters of the Revolution of 1917, put their hands in Eternal flame, and one of them spits into the fire.

19-year-old Albina Belskaya and 22-year-old Olga Balash from Saratov were detained. The last, as a punishment, was a preventive conversation.

In the Investigative Committee of the TFR in the Saratov region reportedthat they appointed their own check on the fact of vandalism, and clarified that the events took place on March 17 at night, and the girls were intoxicated. A 19-year-old woman from Saratov, “while making a video recording on her mobile phone camera, committed illegal actions near the Eternal Flame” and posted the recording on social networks.

“Investigators of the Investigative Committee are carrying out a set of measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident,” the TFR noted.
