A resident of Murom was fined for dancing at the Victory Memorial

A 38-year-old resident of the city of Murom, Vladimir Region, was fined by the court for dancing at the Victory Memorial, RIA Novosti reports, citing a court report.

Reportedly, on the basis of Part 3 of Art. 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, she was sentenced to a fine of 30 thousand rubles.

Earlier, the woman posted a video on social networks with footage of her dancing at the Victory Memorial “To the Unknown Soldier. Eternal Flame” in the center of Murom.

The court found that the woman’s actions offended public morality and were a manifestation of “clear disrespect for society.”

At the same time, the woman herself fully admitted her guilt and expressed words of repentance, the report says.

As stated in the material, the court took into account the presence of a minor child. The woman has time to appeal the court’s decision.
