A rapid chess tournament among rural schoolchildren was held in Chuvashia

A rapid chess tournament dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day was held at the Vurman-Syukter secondary school in the Cheboksary district.
60 schoolchildren living in rural areas and small towns of Chuvashia took part in it. Tsivilsk, Yadrin, Kanash, Shumerlya, Mariinsky Posad, as well as Batyrevsky, Shemurshinsky, Yadrinsky, Tsivilsky and Cheboksary municipal districts of the republic were delegated to participate in the competition for young chess fans.
The winners and runners-up were awarded medals, diplomas and prizes, but not a single participant was left without gifts.
