Ex-deputy of Kharkov Kevorkyan: the capture of Kupyansk will bring down the Kharkov front of the Ukrainian army

Attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the suburban territories of Russia with Ukraine, in particular, on the Belgorod region, can be stopped by moving the front line to Kharkov. First of all, for this, Russian troops need to capture Kupyansk. The head of the telegram channel “Ukraine.ru”, a former deputy of the Kharkiv City Council Konstantin Kevorkyan shared his vision of the development of events in an interview with URA.RU.

In his opinion, the “extremely important task” will be to move the front line from the border of the Russian Federation deeper and “towards Kharkov”. This, according to Kevorkyan, will make it possible to maximally secure Belgorod and other cities of the region from the incessant strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The hub, as emphasized, is the city of Kupyansk, which controls the railway traffic along the Oskol River. Taking it in the future, according to a political and public figure, can “bring down the enemy’s Kharkov front.” “To do this, we need to force the Oskol River,” Kevorkyan explained. “We are now holding its left bank, and we need to go to the right bank.”

Kupyansk, according to a former deputy of the Kharkiv City Council, can be approached “either from the west, where the river blocks the way, or from the north.” Consequently, this implies an offensive from the Belgorod region or the crossing of Oskol just north of Kupyansk.
