The world's stingiest millionaire was found in Germany. 80-year-old Heinz B. from the city of Darmstadt has been eating in the trash for years, saving on everything, but at the same time he has already saved 700 thousand euros (slightly less than 70 million rubles) and has already bought his tenth house for rent with it, writes BILD.

The man looks like an ordinary old beggar. He previously worked as an electrical engineer. Heinz lives alone, receives a pension of 3.6 thousand euros and saves on absolutely everything. He gets his food from the trash heap and heats his house with wood found there. He doesn't have a mobile phone. His only major expenses are a laptop and Internet access to conduct business and watch business lectures on YouTube.

“I live frugally, that’s how I was raised! I don’t even spend 5 euros a month on food. Maybe I’ll buy some cooking oil or something else if I run out. But I find most of my food in the trash,” the man boasted.

He noted that people are very wasteful, for example, they can buy a pack of sausages, eat one, and throw away the rest.

The man invests his savings in houses. He notes that this is the best way to save money from inflation. They are all located near his own home so that he can keep an eye on them. The man himself makes repairs for the residents. He keeps records in ledgers, which he stores on the floor because he doesn't want to buy a shelf.
