In Primorye they showed dancing bears in a national park
Increasingly, clubfoot dancers are being caught on camera traps in the national park. “Land of the Leopard”
In photographs taken by wildlife experts, bears leave scent marks on trees. From the video it can be seen that marking trees gives bears real pleasure.
Three bears have already joined the “dance flash mob” – one white-breasted and two brown. They mark their territory by selecting areas with a variety of national park flora, such as Mongolian oak and dense-flowered pine.
The national park is home to two species of bears – brown (population of about 60 individuals) and white-breasted (also known as Himalayan, population of about 160 individuals). Scientists note that currently the number of brown bears recorded on cameras is growing significantly. Research will continue.
