A Paralympian from Khakassia became a bronze medalist at the Russian Athletics Championships

According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from February 20 to 24, the Russian Athletics Championship (sports for persons with intellectual disabilities) was held in Saransk. 217 athletes from 27 regions of the country took part in the competition.
Khakassia was represented by Sergei Demchuk, a student of the Republican Sports School of the Paralympic Reserve, Master of Sports of Russia, and member of the country’s national sports team. He trains under the coaching guidance of Vladimir Volkov.
Following his performance at the championship, Sergei Demchuk won a bronze medal at a distance of 3 thousand meters.
