Older Baltic residents were able to take part in the Nordic Walking Festival. The walking distance was three kilometers.
According to the press service of the Baltic urban district, the event took place at the city stadium, under the supervision of a coach from the Baltiets sports school, Tatyana Radjabova. She said that outdoor activities give older people health and good mood.
The section is regularly attended by about 20 people, classes are held twice a week. The movement has existed in the district for more than two years.
Previously “MK in Kaliningrad” reportedthat the authorities of the Kaliningrad region will launch the “Baltic Longevity” project in 2024. The initiative was proposed by the governor of the Kaliningrad region.
