A new season of the Night Hockey League starts in Arkhangelsk

At the regional stage of the 12th All-Russian Ice Hockey Festival among amateur teams, 17 teams perform in three divisions
The new season of the Night Hockey League starts in Arkhangelsk. In the Dream League, players who have been trained in specialized children’s and youth schools of the Olympic reserve and hockey sports schools, but have never played at a professional level, can play together with amateurs.
In the “League of Hope” and “Amateurs 40+” only amateurs who do not have special hockey training behind them perform.
After the first matches played in the “Amateurs 40+”, Arkhangelsk “Spartak” takes the first place, in the other two divisions, matches of the starting rounds are still underway.
Several matches will be played this weekend:
- Arkhangelsk Spartak and Legion will meet in the Amateurs 40+ division on November 26;
- in the Dream League, the Velsk team will play on November 26 against Avangard Severodvinsk, and on November 27 – with the team of the regional government;
- in the “League of Hope” on November 26 Arkhangelsk “Torch” and “Icebreaker” will play.
