A new line in the old utility bill

Since the beginning of the year, a new line has appeared in payment documents – “MSW management”, that is, municipal solid waste. A large-scale reform in the field of waste disposal and recycling required changes in the procedure for paying for this service.

The fee for it is calculated based on the area of ​​​​the dwelling and is 7.27 rubles per square meter per month. Hence the nuance: during the absence it is impossible to recalculate. This is only available for those utilities that are counted based on the number of registered residents.

Another standard: the cost of a cubic meter of garbage. The single regional operator for the treatment of municipal solid waste GBU “Ecotechprom” charges a single tariff – 839.23 rubles per cubic meter. The annual standard for the accumulation of MSW for households is 0.104 cubic meters.

In the payment receipt, the “MSW handling” service is displayed depending on who generates it. If GBU MFC – then it will be reflected in the line “Code. lived. pom. and treatment of MSW” and be summed up with the payment for the maintenance of the dwelling. If the EPD is formed by the management company, housing cooperative or condominium, then the service can be included in the document as a separate line.

Among the residents of the capital, there are quite a few categories that are given a discount – either 50 percent or one hundred percent.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of Russia, full cavaliers of the Order of Glory, Heroes of Socialist Labor, Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation, full cavaliers of the Order of Labor Glory, military personnel (including retired) can count on a monthly discount of 100 percent , single pensioners.

The list of people eligible for a 50 percent discount is much more impressive and also includes people who suffered from the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, radiation at the Mayak production association, and were recognized as victims of political repression.
