A native of Kabardino-Balkaria won bronze in the discus throw

The international throwing competition “Bogatyr” started in Adler the day before. Over the course of two days, discus, javelin and hammer throwers from different regions of our country and Kazakhstan will compete for awards in five age groups.

At the end of the competition day, Alexander Dobrenky, a native of Kabardino-Balkaria, won a bronze medal in the discus throw, the press service of the republican government reports.
Having thrown the projectile at a distance of 55.57 meters in his best attempt, Dobrenky took a place on the third step of the podium.

Today, another representative of Kabardino-Balkaria, Nikolai Orlov, will compete for the “Bogatyr” award in the javelin throw.

It was previously reported that a freestyle wrestler from Kabardino-Balkaria took bronze at the European Championships.
