The model range of the Moscow enterprise Pokkels, which specializes in the production of laser equipment, has been replenished with a new device. It operates on a continuous power source of 1500 W and is needed for laser cleaning. “The F-Clean CW laser cleaning device consists of 90% domestic components. With its help, you can remove up to 20 types of contaminants from the surface of a metal – traces of petroleum products, rust, paint, carbon deposits and much more,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He added that the development capacity allows processing up to 200 sq. cm per second. This is especially true when high performance is required.
In addition, the device can be used for cleaning welds, preparing surfaces for paint coating, decontaminating radiation contamination, removing graffiti from walls, and much more. The technology is considered the most effective and safe, since the laser beam does not contact the surface and, therefore, does not damage the material. According to the general director of the company, Mikhail Olegin, the F-Clean equipment series includes pulsed and continuous fiber laser sources with a power of 50 to 1.5 thousand W, as well as form factors. All products are manufactured in Moscow and the region. Note that the company is also engaged in the integration of laser systems with collaborative robots.
