The capital’s electronics manufacturer has developed a universal processor module that can be assembled using an available electronic component base. “The module, developed by the capital’s ATB Electronics company, is a single-board computer based on a quad-core processor. The device is intended for use as a component of automated control systems for transport, telecommunications and medical equipment,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He clarified that such products are built into various industrial automation devices, such as IP phones, trucks and MRIs. The main advantage of using devices is interchangeability.
As the founder of the company, Roman Dementyev, said, the architecture of the modules has long been standardized, so the transition to domestically developed devices will become unnoticeable for users. The company submitted documents for inclusion of modules in the unified register of radio-electronic products of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Certification will be completed by the end of the year. After this, the product will become available for use at critical information infrastructure facilities. Note that the first batch of modules of 500 devices has already been manufactured. The products are used in pilot projects in the energy sector, medicine, transport and in automated process control systems (APCS).
