A monument to Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky with a quote from the song “Let’s Rise,” performed by singer SHAMAN, was unveiled in the city of Lipetsk. This project was financed by local entrepreneurs, the Lipetsk mayor’s office reported, RIA Novosti reports.
The press service of the mayor’s office noted that the place where the monument was built and the personality of the Grand Duke were not chosen by chance: on Victory Avenue “the Grand Duke, an outstanding commander and defender of Russia, who won the most important battles in the history of our country,” is immortalized.
The entrepreneurs’ idea was to draw a parallel between the heroes of past victories and modern events.
On the monument there is a sign with a quote from the song of the singer SHAMANa “Let’s Rise”: “The heroes of Russia will remain in our hearts until the end.”
SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov), performed the song “Let’s Rise,” which became a hit, and his videos collected millions of views. The singer actively tours in different regions of Russia, including Donbass.
