A modern ice complex has been opened in the Lipetsk region. The opening ceremony took place on October 20.
The sports facility was opened for the XI International Sports Forum “Russia – a Sports Power”, which is currently taking place in Perm. The opening participants were the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin and the head of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov.
The main site of the complex is an ice arena measuring 60 by 30 meters, which meets all the standards of the International Ice Hockey Federation. More than 200 young hockey players and figure skaters and others will take part in training sessions here. Figure skating enthusiasts will also be able to practice here.
Today we are recruiting for children’s groups.
The facility was built as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”.
