38-year-old Yegor Drovnikov died in the combat zone in Ukraine, reported portal E1.ru with reference to the administration of Kamensk-Uralsky. The deceased was a member of the Yekaterinburg gang of Vasily Fedorovich, which was responsible for 14 murders, five attempts, kidnappings, robbery and robberies. Yegor Drovnikov was supposed to spend 22 years in prison.
“When the special military operation began, I signed a contract with the Wagner PMC. For bravery and courage, he was awarded two PMC crosses, medals “For Courage” and “For Military Merit,” said the administration of the Kamensk-Uralsky urban district. In the combat zone, the deceased was a motorized rifleman.
In July, Egor Drovnikov signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and continued to serve in the assault unit of a motorized rifle company. “He showed the best qualities of a Russian soldier,” the administration added. He died on September 13. Farewell to Yegor Drovnikov will take place on the Walk of Fame.
Lawyer-blogger Vasily Fedorovich, together with other gang members aged 19 to 40, operated in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk and Kurgan regions from December 2006 to June 2012. The most famous murder of the gang is the reprisal of US citizen George Kara-Yakubyan, whose body was found at the bottom of an inspection hole in one of the ownerless garages on Kommunisticheskaya Street in Yekaterinburg in the spring of 2012.
In total, nine of the 11 alleged gang members were in the dock. In addition to Yegor Drovnikov, it included, for example, the son of a former official in the administration of the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Andrei Zorin. The youngest participant was a UrFU student. There were 107 volumes in the gang’s file.
