In an interview with AiF, the Kremlin speaker emphasized that “it is necessary in the good sense of the word to promote the family, to promote the birth of children, to promote large families,” since “with our territory there should be more of us.”
Peskov called for making traditional values fashionable, since “we must have children, we must increase mobility, we must live in different cities throughout our lives, which must be equally comfortable.”
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin ordered the preparation of proposals by July 1 for a national project to educate a “harmoniously developed personality” based on traditional Russian values.
The head of state has already emphasized that what we in Russia call traditional values are “the foundation of our life, our being,” which “what unites us all”.
