A master class for children with disabilities was held at the Sochi Russian International Olympic University. It was performed by Alexander Ermolov, a member of the Russian wheelchair curling team.
How reports Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Sochi, vice-skip of the national team spoke about the features of this sport. Then the children tried themselves as athletes in the floor version of curling.
Young athletes also practiced on sled hockey sleds and shot with laser equipment. The latter was part of Laser Parabiathlon, an adaptive sport based on Paralympic biathlon.
The sporting event was timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Paralympic Games in Sochi.
