A large-scale ski marathon will be held in Vladimir for the 15th time

Every year the ski marathon “VladimirSKIProku” is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding skier Alexei Prokurorov, a native of the village of Mishino, Vladimir region. This year it will take place for the 15th time.
The Druzhba Park in the regional center will host cross-country skiing races at different distances on February 24 and 25. Over five hundred people have already applied for participation.
They will have to overcome marathon distances of 50, 25, 12.5, five and one kilometer. The shortest race – a kilometer – will be for the youngest athletes. Marathon runners at 50 and 25 kilometers will have the opportunity to stop for a break three times – at points they will be able to drink water or a sports drink.
A prize fund of 300 thousand rubles will be drawn among the winners.
