Residents of St. Petersburg have been experiencing difficulties using city electronic services since Wednesday. As informs Fontanka, problems were noticed when visiting Gorzdrav, a portal for electronic appeals, an MFC, a parking system, and Yandex stopped showing public transport on its maps.
Lieutenant Governor Stanislav Kazarin said that on February 1, “a technical failure occurred on one of the data storage systems of our distributed regional data center.” According to him, “the performance of the system has dropped dramatically.”
The official said that last night the operation of the system was restored, the consequences of the failure are planned to be eliminated by Friday.
