A judoka from Pyatigorsk won silver at the International Tournament

Judoka from Pyatigorsk Armen Aghayan won silver at the International Tournament in Khabarovsk, the press service of the city administration reported.
The competition brought together 188 judoists from Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia, Mongolia, as well as Serbia and India. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Vasily Oshchepkov, the founder of Russian judo.
In the weight category of 73 kg, a pupil of the Pyatigorsk Olimpiets club Armen Aghayan took second place, losing to Karim Abdulaev from Irkutsk.
Last year, the opponents also met on the mat. Then Aghayan won both in the duel and in the competition.
