A huge brown bear ate chocolate bars in a supermarket

A hungry brown bear entered an American supermarket on September 6, leaving a helpless cashier to watch the robbery.
Cashier Christopher Kinson, 54, was working the night shift in California when he saw the door was open but no one seemed to come in. At 1:30 am, when the cashier looked down, he noticed a brown bear eating chocolates. “I was amazed. I saw an open door, but I didn’t see who was coming in, and only then I realized it was a bear. The video from the cameras really does not convey how huge it was. In reality, the bear seemed to be about 20-30% larger,” the cashier said.
Christopher stood behind the counter and watched as the bear raided the store several times, he tried to lock the door first with a trash can and then with a mop.
“I tried to keep my distance and had a back door next to me so I could run if he attacked.”
Christopher said that at first he was very scared, but then he realized that the guest just wanted to eat. However, he was on guard.
The bear took chocolates one or two at a time during his forays into the store, so that he looked like a real buyer. “He went in, sniffed everything around, and as soon as he got the desired food, he jumped right out the door. It was funny. He seemed to be deliberately polite – he took one candy bar at a time, ”added the cashier.
The curious bear returned several times before leaving again for half an hour. It was then that Christopher was able to block the door with a broom handle and a trash bag.
