A program to adapt housing for military personnel who became disabled after participating in hostilities in Ukraine was launched in Buryatia. The head of the republic, Alexey Tsydenov, reported this.
“We are launching in Buryatia, on behalf of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, a program to adapt the housing of SVO participants with disabilities,” wrote Alexey Tsydenov in Telegram channel.
The program is designed to provide housing for soldiers with musculoskeletal, vision and hearing problems. In total, as part of the program, military housing can be equipped with 70 different devices, including functional beds, a smart home system and lifts.
According to the head of Buryatia, by the end of January, municipal commissions will visit all disabled military personnel in the region and draw up a list of what is needed. Federal funds have been allocated for the program.
