The sixth open republican Greco-Roman wrestling tournament was held today in the Lagansky district of Kalmykia.
It was dedicated to the memory of the master of sports of Russia, honorary worker of primary vocational education of the Russian Federation, excellent student in physical education and sports of Russia Vyacheslav Ankhanov. For more than 35 years, the renowned coach and director of the Lagan Youth Sports School devoted his energy and skills to children. Trained about 40 Russian masters of sports.
More than ten teams from Kalmykia, Krasnodar Territory and North Ossetia-Alania took part in the tournament. The competition lasted more than six hours.
