They report that initially the area of the park, according to the general plan, was to be 13 hectares, but by now it has been reduced to 3 hectares – and then only on paper. In fact, the improvement has not been started, but the developer is already preparing to use the missing 10 hectares for residential construction, activists say.
The developer denies the accusations against him. General Director of the construction company Arkady Skorov declared The “uplift” that the builders did not undertake the obligation to deal with the park when selling apartments was a “good will” that has not yet been realized for various reasons. According to the director, “everything is complicated,” but the developer nevertheless continues to discuss the project with officials and hopes that in the future “there will be a park on the sly.” Dissatisfied Shusharians, who claim that the developer promised landscaping when selling apartments, were negatively characterized by the director.
