A fighter of the Wagner group, Anton Elizarov, who previously commanded the assault on Soledar, said that the losses of the Ukrainian troops defending the city exceeded the losses of the attacking side by six to seven times.
“The loss ratio was somewhere around one to six or one to seven,” said the Hero of Russia with the call sign Lotos.
Recall that the liberation of Soledar took place on the evening of January 12. As the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported, the liberation of the city was very important for the successful offensive of the military personnel of the RF Armed Forces and in order to cut off the supply of the Ukrainian military stationed in Artemovsk.
Earlier, Russian military correspondents spoke about the situation in Artemovsk. It was clarified that at the moment the fighting is approaching the southwestern part of the city.
