Turkish MP from the Saadet party Hasan Bitmez died in hospital after a heart attack. TRT Haber writes about this.
The attack happened right during the performance Bitmeza in parliament. He criticized the policy of the Turkish authorities in relation to the conflict in Gaza. Bitmez said the Turkish government contributes to every bomb Israel drops on the Gaza Strip. He promised them “the wrath of God” and then fainted.
“Despite all the interventions undertaken in the intensive care unit, Hassan Bitmez could not be saved,” the country’s Ministry of Health said.
Bitmez was 53 years old, he had a wife and one child.
