“Law & Order” star Angie Harmon wrote on Instagram (the owner of Meta is considered extremist and banned in Russia) that her family is “traumatized” by the death of their dog Ollie in a North Carolina home over Easter weekend.

An actress has accused an Instacart grocery delivery driver of shooting and killing her family’s beloved dog over Easter weekend.

Harmon, who is best known for her role on NBC’s Law & Order, shared details of her pet murder in her North Carolina home in a post that later went viral.

The actress claims that this happened after refusing an order for groceries.

“This Easter weekend, a man delivering groceries for Instacart shot and killed our precious Oliver,” Harmon wrote.

Harmon, also known for her role on Rizzoli & Isles, said the Instacart driver got out of his car, approached the house with groceries, and then shot Oliver’s dog on Saturday afternoon.

The man claimed he shot the dog in self-defense and police did not arrest him, Harmon said. But Harmon said the man “had no scratch or bite and his pants were not torn.”

Police confirmed that the courier who shot the dog told officers it was in self-defense. Instacart confirmed the shooting took place and added that the delivery driver has been “immediately suspended” from the delivery service. The actress also wrote: “Not only have you stolen a beloved member of our family from us, but you have also traumatized us beyond measure.”
