A criminal case under the article on hooliganism was initiated against a man who tried to set fire to the Lenin Mausoleum in Moscow, law enforcement agencies told TASS. No details about the figurant are given. The man faces up to seven years in prison.

Incident happened on the evening of 17 July. The man was detained on Red Square with a Molotov cocktail, no one was hurt. He was taken to the police station and a protocol was drawn up against him for “disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer.”
