The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg fined 7,000 rubles. a man who attacked a child because of a hat with the letter Z. As the press service of the court told Kommersant, the criminal case of hooliganism (part 1 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against 56-year-old Alexander Neustroev was stopped “for active remorse.”
Recall, On April 21, near house No. 35 on Volgogradskaya Street, a man obscenely scolded an 11-year-old boy for a hat with the Z symbol, and also, according to media reports, tried to grab him. It is known that the boy’s father is a participant in a special military operation in Ukraine.
On April 24, police and riot police detained Alexander Neustroev. Siloviki reportedthat the detainee repented and apologized to the student and his parents.
At first, an administrative case was initiated against Alexander Neustroev under the article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). However, later the administrative proceedings were terminated due to the initiation of a criminal case on hooliganism. The man faced up to five years in prison.
