A court in St. Petersburg left the leader of the Puppies group, Maxim Tesli, under arrest.

The St. Petersburg City Court left the leader of the punk group “Puppies” Maxim Moiseev (pseudonym Maxim Tesli) under arrest, having considered a complaint against the decision of the district court, reported United press service of city courts.
The complaint was left unsatisfied; the ruling of the Kalininsky District Court, which sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest for performing almost naked at a concert at the MOD club, remained unchanged.
On the night of January 9, police detained Maxim Moiseev in Pulkovo, from where he was planning to fly to Yekaterinburg. The next day, the Kalininsky District Court sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest under Part 1 of Art. 20.1 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism).
The musician’s behavior during a concert at the St. Petersburg club MOD was recognized as an offense in court. Speaking to St. Petersburg residents on January 7, Mr. Moiseev appeared on stage almost naked at one of the compositions: the only piece of clothing he was wearing was a sock that covered his genitals.
The musician’s performance in this form displeased the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, who asked in a Telegram post how the St. Petersburg police would react to what happened. The performance was also noted by the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, who called for the singer to be checked for compliance with current legislation, including the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on discrediting the Russian army.
