Based on a petition from the investigation, the Lefortovo District Court in Moscow decided to arrest a foreign citizen in a case of espionage. Interfax reported this on Wednesday.
The foreign citizen was assigned a preventive measure in the form of detention, since he was charged under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on espionage (Article 276).
At the moment, the agency does not have any other information about the case or comments from the investigation or the court on this situation.
According to a message in the telegram channel of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction, citizen of Tajikistan Tillozoda Sh. will be in a pre-trial detention center until December 10.
