A contractor has been identified in Vologda to build a second smart sports ground

The head of the regional department of physical culture and sports, Sergey Fokichev, announced on his social network page that two smart sports grounds will appear in Vologda in 2023.
The first of them will be located near school No. 28 on Tendryakova Street. It began to be built last year.
The second facility will be located on Gagarin Street. Here, Vologda residents had questions about the project, since there is an apple orchard in Kovyrinsky Park, for which the locals were worried. But a compromise on the situation was found.
As a result, in the near future they will begin to prepare the base of the site and install equipment on the territory. The next step will be planting new apple trees. The contractor for the work has already been identified, and an agreement has been concluded with the Department of Agriculture for the supply of seedlings.
We add that the construction of smart sports facilities is carried out under the federal project “Business Sprint (I choose sports)”.
