More than 430 first-year students will study in key engineering specialties at the Moscow State Educational Complex (GBPOU MGOK). The base department of the college is located in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

“The system of secondary vocational education, as the most flexible and quickly adapting to market demands, today provides Moscow with specialists in the most in-demand professions. For example, due to the dynamic development of the industry of unmanned aircraft systems, MGOK tripled the enrollment of students in the specialty “UAS Operation” – from 25 to 75 people,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He noted that the college’s training programs are designed taking into account the requests of employers. This allows graduates to immediately receive offers from leading Russian enterprises. This year, applicants could enroll in 17 specialties. According to the General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, Gennady Degtev, the basic department of the Moscow State Mining and Processing Plant makes it possible to fill the shortage of engineering professions for innovative industrial enterprises.

For example, this year, enrollment in the specialty “Installation, maintenance and repair of electronic devices and devices” increased from 25 people to 50. The base department of the Moscow State Educational Institution has been located at the “Pechatniki” site of the Moscow SEZ since 2018. It graduates about 400–500 students per year.
