An outstanding coach and master of sports of the USSR, Ivan Nikolaevich Sivtsev was awarded the prestigious title “Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Russia.” This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Yakutia.
The President of the Russian Federation signed a corresponding decree, confirming the merits and successes of Ivan Sivtsev. He worked for 42 years as a coach at the Borogontsy Olympic Reserve Sports School and during this time he trained a number of talented athletes.
Among the achievements of Ivan Sivtsev is the training of seven champions and prize-winners of the European Championship, the Youth Championship and the World Youth Championship, as well as 40 masters of sports of Russia, eight masters of sports of international class and 95 candidates for master of sports.
The awarding of the title “Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Russia” to Ivan Sivtsev is recognized for his merit in the development of physical culture and sports, as well as recognition of his long-term dedicated work.
