A chess tournament among schoolchildren will be held in Buryatia

In Ulan-Ude, from August 19 to 20, the interregional rapid chess tournament “Hopes of Buryatia – 2022” will be held. Schoolchildren will take part in it.
Competitions will be held in the city chess club. The winners will be determined in the absolute championship among boys and girls, as well as in the categories under 9 years old (born in 2014 and younger) and under 11 years old (born in 2012-2013) among boys and girls.
Registration of tournament participants will take place on August 19 from 9:00 to 10:00. The opening of the tournament will take place at 10:10. The first round starts at 10:30.
Young chess players can register in advance by sending an application to [email protected]. The participant must indicate the full name, date of birth, Russian rating, if any.
Champions and winners of prizes will be awarded with diplomas and cash prizes, the Chess Federation of Buryatia reports.
