Regarding the former lawyer and ex-player of the television club “What? Where? When?” Ilya Novikov (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia) was charged with treason in connection with his participation in battles on the side of Ukraine. This was reported by the FSB press service, transmits TASS.

A criminal case of treason has been opened against Novikov (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The maximum penalty under this article is life imprisonment.
