The cargo ship “Queen Lend” under the flag of Liberia, which the day before was carried by a storm to the coast of Sakhalin, weighed anchor. Interfax reports this with reference to the Eastern Mining Company, which operates in the Uglegorsk seaport.
It is known that on Tuesday evening the wind on the coast died down. The cargo ship weighed anchor and went to the roadstead point. It did not receive any damage as a result of the storm, so there is no danger of an oil spill. The crew was not injured.
At the moment, the vessel is in a roadstead near the village of Shakhtersk, where the seaport of the Eastern Mining Company is located.
Let us remind you that “Queen lend” was washed up on the coast of Sakhalin by a storm the day before. There is a crew of 22 Chinese citizens on board the cargo ship.
