Karim Khalili won the 15 km mass start at the Russian Biathlon Championships, which takes place in Tyumen.
An athlete from the Moscow region covered the distance in 41 minutes 27.2 seconds, without making a single mistake at four shooting ranges. Belarusian Stepan Danilov was in second place with a lag of 13.5 seconds, having made one mistake. Eduard Latypov won the bronze medal with two penalties and a gap of 21.4 seconds.
The biathlon championship will end on Sunday. The women’s mass start and men’s relay race will take place on the same day.
