A biathlete from Labytnangi won gold at the Russian Championship

Biathlete from the Labytnang Olympic Reserve Sports School named after Tatyana Akhatova Alexander Bektuganov became the national champion. This was reported on January 11 by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
“The Labytnang athlete covered a distance of five kilometers in a super sprint in 20:31:4. This result brought him a gold medal. Alexander trains under the guidance of Sergei Sandulyak,” the message says.
The Russian Biathlon Championship takes place in Tchaikovsky, Perm Territory, from January 9 to 15. More than 130 athletes from Russia and Belarus are participating.
