Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that, most likely, a temporary 250-meter bridge would have to be built next to the damaged span of the Crimean bridge. Restore two-way traffic on one side of the bridge planned by September 15, on the second – by November 1.
“We will work to restore the second span. Technology does not work here, so we will most likely build a temporary 250-meter bridge and lift the spans with heavy cranes,” Mr. Khusnullin told reporters (quoted from “Interfax”). According to him, the technology is basically defined, the designers are working, and the headquarters structure is assembled.
The Deputy Prime Minister also announced that decisions had been made to organize traffic along an alternative route through new regions. “The curfew for round-the-clock traffic was canceled, additional guard posts were set up. Departure from the Crimea and the Rostov region without checking documents, upon entry, the verification period is maximally reduced,”— told Marat Khusnullin.
According to Kommersant, two explosions under the automobile part of the Crimean bridge were registered by the duty unit of the National Guard unit guarding the facility at 3:15 am on July 17.
After the blocking of automobile traffic on the Crimean bridge due to the attack of Ukrainian drones, you can get to the peninsula along the land corridor through new regions: from Rostov-on-Don past Mariupol, Berdyansk and Melitopol.
