Yandex will delete inactive accounts

“Yandex“will begin to delete inactive profiles, reported in the press service of the Russian company.

Before deleting an account, inactive users will receive notifications to confirm that their profile is up to date. “We are talking about accounts that have not had any activity for more than two and a half years. After several notifications at least a month in advance, the service will begin deleting inactive accounts without the possibility of recovery for security reasons,” the message says.

To save your account, it will be enough to log in to any Yandex service using this profile. The company explained this by protecting personal data, since old accounts could become a source of access to personal information or be used to send unwanted or harmful content.

October 24 “Yandex» reported on combining its delivery services “Food”, “Lavka”, “Market” and “Market.Delivery” into a new direction of e-commerce. Combining these services into one direction will allow us to strengthen the technological integration of the sites and use each other’s logistics infrastructure, the company clarified.
