Ukrainian media reported that the deputies of the Kyiv city council want to consider depriving Brezhnev of the title of honorary citizen of Kyiv.
This issue will be considered at the plenary meeting of the City Council on May 25. This was announced by the secretary of the city council Volodymyr Bondarenko.
“Currently, under the criteria defined by clauses 5.2, 5.4 of the regulations on the title of honorary citizen of Kiev, a number of persons, and not just Brezhnev, fall under the criteria for deprivation of such a title. This issue will be considered at the meeting on May 25,” he added.
