83-year-old actress Luzhina spoke about hospitalization: “The pressure increased, there was nothing to breathe”

The legend of Russian cinema, who played with Vysotsky in the film “Height”, is still touring

The legendary actress Larisa Luzhina was in the hospital. The 83-year-old star of Soviet cinema felt very unwell. Luzhina realized that she could not do without the help of doctors. Larisa Anatolyevna frankly told the MK correspondent about her condition.

– Either the weather has changed, or else, but my blood pressure has risen: 190 to 100, it has become difficult to breathe, – says Larisa Anatolyevna. – I haven’t had this in a long time. I couldn’t take a full breath! I called an ambulance and I was sent to the Botkin hospital. There I was very well received: I passed all the tests, I was carefully examined. The doctors said it was because of the heart. They made a bunch of different diagnoses: “atherosclerosis” and many other things they wrote.

According to Luzhina, she did not stay in the hospital. After the examination, she returned home. The condition has improved, but not completely.

– Breathing became better, – explains the actress. – I decided to walk a few steps during the day. I got to the post office, but it was already hard to get back. Of course, I need to make an appointment with a cardiologist in the near future, let them look at me better.

Luzhin has been haunted by heart problems for a long time. She underwent major surgery five years ago.

“In 2017, I had an abdominal operation on the heart,” the actress shares. – We did everything well. I had atrial fibrillation and also had a left ventricular resection. There I had a blood clot, and the doctors removed it. Thank God, there is no “flicker” now. But the arrhythmia still occurs periodically. The rhythm is breaking! What can be done here? Age! It doesn’t get better with age! I am taking the medicines that the doctors have prescribed for me. Everything in the complex: both from pressure and from the heart. I take 6-7 medications every day!

Due to getting into the hospital, Luzhina was forced to cancel the tour. The star planned to meet with fans in Saratov. But she failed to do so.

– All my troubles began just before the flight, – the actress sighs. – I was just not able to get up. Even though I had already packed my suitcase. But there was absolutely no strength. Lying on the bed and everything. So I had to cancel the trip. And so I still tour. We recently worked in Zheleznodorozhny, in Dubna, and will soon fly to Volgograd. Traveling is hard for me, of course. But it would be worse if they weren’t. Work makes me gather, concentrate. You forget about all your problems. Hold on and nothing!
