As shown interview research center SuperJob, three out of four (74%) working Russians use WhatsApp for official purposes. Recently, Deputy Head of the State Duma for Information Policy Anton Gorelkin (United Russia) proposed prohibit the use of this messenger by civil servants. According to Kommersant, the Ministry of Education also previously recommended teachers not to use WhatsApp and other foreign messengers in the educational process or at work.

According to the results of the survey, only one in five respondents (22%) who use WhatsApp for business purposes are ready to support the introduction of such a ban on all Russians. Almost every second (48%) spoke out against. At the same time, if such a ban is nevertheless introduced, more than half of the respondents (55%) will agree to refuse official correspondence in this messenger.
